A Good Landing Page Can Make You Thousands (Or More)

Creating a successful landing page is an art. Unlike a sales page, where you’re usually prodding customers to take out their wallets, a landing page generally encourages prospects to leave their email addresses. Both pages are focused on conversion, turning prospects into leads or paying customers, but what happens next is completely different.

As I'm sure you've experienced, landing pages can offer a wide variety of valuable content that prospects weigh in exchange for their contact information. Whether your free offer or lead magnet is a downloadable PDF, personalized quiz results or a free masterclass, the purpose of the landing page is the same – collecting a way to contact the prospect in the future.

My clients tend to range from solopreneurs, to 8-figure business owners impacting the masses. Each of them takes different approaches to their landing pages — whether they have multiple lead magnets targeting different segments of their audience, seasonal freebies they rotate through every couple of months, or maintain one, solid evergreen landing page that converts year-round.

However, the one thing they all have in common is – the opportunity to make thousands (or even millions) from their landing pages. Here's how:

A Landing Page Is One Piece Of Your Sales Funnel

One thing I love about landing pages is their intrinsic simplicity, mirrored by the thought and strategy that goes into every design and copy element — from the colours and images used to the eye-catching headline and the button text.

By replacing manual email collection and countless lead generation strategies with a landing page (or several), you not only streamline your sales funnel, but also strengthen your brand message by funnelling every customer through the same user experience.

It Lowers The Cost of (Viable) Lead Acquisition

I've never been a fan of “buying” leads — it’s not only expensive, but risky, because there’s no guarantee they will be even remotely interested in hearing from you.

Whereas, everyone who signs up for free content through your landing page has given you their email address and expressed specific interest in what you have to offer.

In the digital age, people have started being selective with who they give their email addresses to, so don't squander this opportunity. If a lead has given you their contact info, that means they’re interested and they're trusting you to deliver on your promise.

Now that you have leads on speed dial, it's time to introduce yourself, get to know them and nurture them.

Because Email Is The Place To Be

Question: How often do you check your email? I probably check mine between 10-15 times a day when I'm working, and social media maybe 5-10. A day! When you work in marketing and you work for yourself, these interactions are almost inevitable, but the stats back this up too. Forbes reported that, on average, people check their email 15 times a day.

In fact, for every $1 you spend on email marketing, you can expect an average return on that investment of $42. Yep, that’s a 4200% ROI.

That's one of the reasons that selling to (engaged) email lists works — you have someone's undivided attention several times a day. Unlike social media, where the algorithm is constantly changing or you're competing with other companies, you get to have 1:1 conversations with your prospects for as long as they continue to use those email addresses. You own this platform.

Let’s Make YOU Thousands

So from a mere landing page, we've now ended up at an engaged email list where people can start to know, like and trust you. From here, you can nurture them and sell to them, as these people will soon become your most loyal fans — if your email marketing is done right.

This is where I come in. Landing pages, email campaigns, sales pages, ad copy — it's about more than writing about your product or service. It's about who you serve, what you offer, how you do it and what it will do for them.

It’s time to make you thousands.

Are you ready?
